Important principles for combat (as I see it..)

The most common question I see in regard to the martial arts is offcourse: which art is the best for self defence? And its a valid question, people dont want to waste their time and money, its totally understandable.
To me though, its not about the style, if you understand a few basic principles in reference to training and fighting any style could be effective. I beleive one should train what is fun and rewarding and not what propaganda and commercial interest tells you is the best.
If you study and practice all or some of the following principles, understanding of combat will be greatly enhanced, well.. atleast in my opinion. No doubt some of them will not suit all styles out there but then just skip those ;) There will follow articles on every principle/idea and maybe also youtube clips to accompany the article.

- Protecting Low-Middle-High Sections
- Structure
- Entering
- Even hands
- Bone Sheild
- Proper Entering
- Destruction
- Whiplash
- Keeping exercises alive (agenda sparring)
- 45 Degrees

The new name is better and suits my thinking better, Im gonna in the days to come, posts some articles on just the subject of form to function etc. Why I beleive in the great importance of forms training, but how important it is to understand the function etc bla bla
